Working with Illustrator has been a good experience to have under my belt. So far I have learned what the purpose of illustrator is as well as I have learned how to use numerous features such as the paintbrush, the paint bucket, the twirl tool, the pucker tool, the shape tool and the stamp tool. One of the problems I kept encountering was figuring out what each of the tools does. I had to undo a lot of mistakes that I made. Another problem I had was distinguishing the difference between this and Photoshop; however, now I have it figured out. For the tree picture on the left hand side, I had to paste a picture into Illustrator and then turn down the opacity of it in order to trace some of the lines with the paint brush tool. I then added another layer and painted it the pinkish color you see as the background. When saving it to this blog, I had a problem with how the coloring was. Weebly would enhance the colors when it was on the CMYK color setting. For the picture on the right, I enhanced the colors of the picture as well as I used the paintbrush tool and the paint bucket tool to add in the long-board and change the color of the girls shorts. Those have been my adventures in Illustrator so far!
